Milton Sisters, Bret & Rylee, once again show off their hard work and dedication at the 2025 LSU AgCenter State Livestock Show. This event took place Feb. 11-18, 2025, at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales, Louisiana.
Tuesday, February 11, the sisters first day at State Livestock Show, Rylee won 1st place in the Jr Jersey Association showmanship for her age division.
Wednesday, February 12 Bret won Reserve Champion Jr showman last night at the LSU State Livestock Show against a very competitive group.
Thursday, February 13 Bret won Grand Champion and Grand Champion Louisiana Bred Jersey heifer with “Fancy at the Fair.” “R&B Farms Fancy at the Fair has always been special to the Milton family. Born ring side at the BR state fair livestock show, she has always demanded attention! Rylee also won Reserve Grand Champion Jersey heifer and Reserve Champion Louisiana bred with “Prissy.” Both the heifers were born and raised on their family farm.
Bret M was recognized Tuesday, February 18 at the State Livestock Show awards ceremony for her showmanship win.
Because of the Milton sisters work ethic, dedication, and ambition, we expect to see many more achievements from in their future!
Frost is very lucky to have had both Rylee and Bret representing our school at this years state livestock show. We can't wait to see what they do in the future with their livestock participating in future 4-H shows.
